Yesterday, I made a post about some bookish events that I've been to lately. And I wouldn't have known about either of them if it wasn't for my latest project. Let me backtrack a little bit. For a while now, I've wished that there was one place that I could go to find out about all YA bookish events at once. I thought it would be great to have that point of reference so I didn't have to check out tons of individual author websites based on the chance that one of them would be anywhere near me. So, after a while of thinking this, I decided to do something about it . My latest project is: the YA events calendar ! I'm in the process of going through hundreds of YA author websites and adding any upcoming events to the calendar. (So far, this is U.S. only - I really want to expand it in the future, but I can't figure out how to make the calendar work for other time zones! Someday.)
