Time for another book tag! It's getting pretty close to the end of the year, which means that it's the perfect time for this wrapping-things-up tag. I also did this tag last year , but I think it's a great thing to do every year! Are there any books you've started this year that you need to finish? There are quite a few, especially ones that I've put down for who knows how long, but the two that I'm really planning on are THE ICE CREAM QUEEN OF ORCHARD STREET and MORE THAN WE CAN TELL . Do you have an autumnal/wintery book to transition into the end of the year? I was struggling to think of something for this, but then I remembered that I have TOIL & TROUBLE ! Time for another tag! I'm nowhere near being out of fall book tags to do, fortunately. I've found a whole bunch of Booktube videos with this tag, so I decided to give it a go! Crunching leaves: The world is full of color. Choose a book that has reds/oranges/yellows on the cover. I think ILLUMINAE by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff fits this best - it definitely has all of those colors! Maybe not in the most strictly autumnal setting, but that's okay. Cozy sweater: It's finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies? Back to book blogging means back to book tags! I really have missed this I love book tags, and I love fall, so the Finally Fall Book Tag (which I found on Reagan @ Peruse Project's channel ) is a perfect fit! In fall, the air is crisp and clear. Name a book with a very vivid setting. I'm not quite sure whether this counts as one vivid setting or about twelve, but I was totally sucked into the world of EVERY HEART A DOORWAY by Seanan McGuire. Both the children's home and the fantasy worlds were so wonderfully crafted. Nature is beautiful, but also dying. Name a book that is beautifully written but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief. A SEMI-DEFINITIVE LIST OF WORST NIGHTMARES by Krystal Sutherland is a beautifully written book - it feels almost like a fairy tale - but it centers around mental illness, and doesn't shy away from how dark that can be. It also feels very much like a fall book for me, so it's a great fit for this tag....

I absolutely love doing tags! I think they're a great way to talk about all kinds of books. For almost a month now, I've been listening to the new Panic! at the Disco album, Pray for the Wicked, on repeat. I had to find a way to incorporate it into this blog, so I split up the album with Sky @ Sky's Reading Corner and we came up with books for each song!
