Lost in My Library

Today is all about book covers - specifically, book covers that seem autumnal today! This is a very seasonally appropriate theme. The weather here just got cold enough to really feel like fall a few days ago! I don't have actual reasons for most of these - they just gave me an autumnal vibe when I saw them. And I haven't read all of these, so I wasn't basing this on the contents of the book at all. What are some of your favorite autumnal covers? Tell me in the comments!

I don't think I'm the only one who's not feeling particularly patriotic this Fourth of July. However, I'll take many small excuses to show off pretty book covers! This list is part of the Top 10 of 2017 event at Kimberlyfaye Reads, which I unfortunately didn't find out about soon enough to participate in the rest of! I'm usually pretty good at not judging a book by its cover. There are a ton of covers out there that I just don't feel that strongly about one way or the other. But sometimes, a cover is too pretty to not notice it. Here are my top 10 covers of 2017 releases! (I haven't yet read all of these, but they're all at least on my TBR.) We all say "don't judge a book by its cover"...but we all do a little bit. Some of us more than others, but I don't think I've ever met a reader who isn't at least a little put off by a horrible cover. I'm one of those people who isn't hugely swayed by covers. I've definitely never bought a book entirely because of its cover, and there are plenty of covers that I just have no reaction whatsoever to, but there are some covers that are so great that they make even me react. So I wanted to do a post dedicated to those! Because we all deserve to take some time to stare at gorgeous things.
