Happy new year, everyone! I love Ne w Year's - there 's just so mething so wonderful about the idea of a fresh start. (Especially after 2016.) I have a feeling that 2017 is going to be a great yea r here at Lost in My Library. In a co mpletely unrelated celebration, this is my 100th post! This some how feels a lot m ore tangible than my blogoversary last week, but i t's just as unbeli evable to me . It turns out that out of all of the 2017 books I'm excited for, there aren't a ton of debuts. There are a lot of books by authors I haven't read before, but a bunch of those are actually the author's second or third book. But there are enough debuts that I'm pretty excited for everything on this list. Almost all of these wil l be pu blished in the first half of the y ear, which I'm a little surprised at - I guess it's just because I know more about those books.
